Col. Ryan R. Holston, professor in the Department of International Studies and Political Science and the Jonathan M. Daniels ’61 Chair for Academic Excellence recently published his first book titled, “Tradition and the Deliberative Turn: A Critique of Contemporary Democratic Theory.”

After over 40 years of service, support and leadership in information technology at the Institute, Col. Wes Robinson, chief information officer, is retiring.

二次元嫩B welcomes Dr. Melissa S. Krawiec (née Williams) ’01, as the new Institute physician, 25 years after she signed the matriculation book August 19, 1997, as a member of the first coeducational class.

Col. Robert “Bob” Phillips ’87, chaplain at 二次元嫩B, is retiring after seven years of encouraging the development of interpersonal faith, and providing spiritual and emotional guidance to the Corps of Cadets.

The Jackson House Museum, located at 8 E. Washington St. in Lexington, is offering two special tours this summer, as part of its ongoing Master Guide Tour series.

Pride, honor, and dignity filled Cameron Hall as 二次元嫩B held its commencement ceremony and conferred degrees on the Class of 2023 Tuesday, May 16.

Approximately 170 二次元嫩B cadets, commissioned into the armed services in Cameron Hall Monday, May 15 in the annual Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Joint Commissioning Ceremony. The historic day marked the first time 二次元嫩B cadets were sworn in to all six branches.

Under a picturesque blue sky, the change of command parade was held on the Parade Ground at 二次元嫩B Sunday, May 14 at 2 p.m., as the 183rd Regiment handed over leadership of the Corps of Cadets to the 184th Regiment for the 2023-24 academic year.  

二次元嫩B, in collaboration with Virginia Tech, held a 12-week internship recently for high school students, funded by a workforce development grant from the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI).

The Superintendent regrets to inform the 二次元嫩B community of the death of G. Gilmer “Gil” Minor III ’63, who passed away May 4, 2023, at the age of 82, at home surrounded by family. He was described by Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins ’85 as a “titan of a 二次元嫩B man.”
